I just watched this movie and recommend it.
I'd have to say it was kind of a mix of Fallout3 like, only with an armageddon infertility disease as the cause of all the strife and decay. A good survival in essentially a fear torn martial law government propaganda film, all of it steeped in an underlying morass of hopeless depression that the world is locked in. The survival portion is that of escorting the last spark of hope in a gritty backdrop scened akin to Saving Private Ryan.

| Dragon Rune Wiki Updates |

Two new pages have been added, both linked from the Main Index.
The first one is a copy of the Druatch Dictionary that I had access to when divining the names of the runes, posted here with permission from its author Syrosa.
The Second is a new page dealing with some basics of how to Write with Dragon Runes as well as a Font for download that contains all the runes. Thanks to Dragon's Eye for permission to make that font available.
So Old and New growing the site, more to come ;->

I was washing the dishes and having Kai help me... rather, he puts the a hand full of plates away, and then starts play cooking in the other sink with a big and little bowl, a mixing spoon and a ladle. Here is the conversation:
Kai taking ladles of water from the tap:
"First we add the Apple juice, then the orange juice, theeeeen the onion juice and some celery juice. Next we need some yum yum yum.... fish juice."
Kai then begins stirring all the water he has added to the bowl.
"Hey Daddy! Guess what's in the water!"
Thinking to play along, I say "Ummm Chicken Juice?"
"Noooo..." He says with a tone of a teacher telling a student who has gotten a very simple question wrong "...Water Molecules!!"
Of course, I should have guessed ;-p

So Kai and I are sitting at the bus terminal waiting for a bus outside on a bench. Kai has been making several animal noises and then makes a high squeaking noise. I ask him what animal makes that noise and the following conversation ensues:
Kai: "Its a hamster in trouble Daddy."
Me: "Really? Why is he in trouble?"
K: "He's being hunted of course"
M: "Who's hunting him?"
K: "Ummm... The Man who eats hamsters, he's the Hamster Eating Man"
M: "Why does he eat hamsters?"
K: "Beecaaauuuse, he's the Hamster Eating Man!!"
M: "Oh dear, I think the hamster should hide in his burrow"
K: "Nope, the hamster has no burrow"
M: "He could make a new one"
K: "Nope, he can't"
M: "Well then he should run away don't you think?"
K: "Nope, he can't run either, the Hamster Eating Man wants to eat him"
At this point the bus shows up and we climb aboard, Kai carrying an umbrella as tall as he is.

I have finally finished updating the Wiki and now the full set of 27 runes have a detailed definition page. I went through the other runes I had already put up and polished them a little. For those interested, all the runes are linked from the Rune Overview and Index page of the Dragon Runes Wiki.
As always, comments and questions welcome. Next updates might be a while in being posted, and will likely be a more advanced look some of the rune interactions with each other.

My eldest son Kai turns 3 today, we have a nice party set up for him and he will have a Birthday Cake with a picture of Pooh Bear on it ;->
My wife, Mana, will be heading off to Basic for the Navy in a week, and I wrote this poem for her:
My Valkyrie
My Shield Maiden,
To whom my soul is linked,
My thoughts to you
Be always turned,
And taught unto our kin.
I send my blessings and my pride,
To sail with you,
Wherever you abide.
Our passion burns,
Within our souls,
And always warms our hearts,
A bond of ages,
